The Centre Island BBQ & Beer Co. is located on Centre Island just beside the ferry dock and water taxi landing.  It is one of the first things all passengers on the Centre Island ferry see as they approach the dock.

 

 

 

The venue has a large patio that seats more than 500 people – and claims to have a combined indoor / outdoor seating capacity of over 1000.  It serves traditional fare such as sandwiches / burgers / hot dogs etc., but also a lunch and dinner menu of BBQ favourites.

 

 

Hours of operation are weekdays from 11:30 to 8:30 from June 1^stto Labour Day.  And 11:30 – 9:30 on weekends.  It is open on weekends in the fall, depending on the weather, and can also be rented out for private functions throughout the summer and fall.

 

 

While Centre Island BBQ & Beer Co is fully licensed and a great place to relax, have a beer and watch the ferry come and go from the large patio, there really is no argument that the most alluring aspect of the location is the absolutely amazing view of the Toronto Skyline – which most people agree is the best anywhere.
